What happens

What happens to one who makes a
decision based on a lie?

One is likely to make an unrighteous
decision and depending
on the decision made could produce
dire consequences.

---

Do not accuse a man for no reason
-- when he has done you no harm.

Truthful lips endure forever,
but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.

The righteous hate what is false,
but the wicked bring shame and disgrace.

There is a way that seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death.

Kings take pleasure in honest lips;
they value a man who speaks the truth.

A perverse man stirs up dissension,
and a gossip separates close friends.

Eloquent lips are unsuited to a fool
-- how much worse lying lips to a ruler!

The first to present his case seems right,
till another comes forward and questions him.

To do what is right and just is more
acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

When justice is done, it brings joy to the
righteous but terror to evildoers.

A man who strays from the path of understanding
comes to rest in the company of the dead.

Buy the truth and do not sell it;
get wisdom, discipline and understanding.

A lying tongue hates those it hurts,
and a flattering mouth works ruin.

Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
but an enemy multiplies kisses.

If a ruler listens to lies,
all his officials become wicked.

Jesus said,
"Stop judging by mere appearances,
and make a right judgment."

(Proverbs 3:30; 12:19; 13:5; 14:12; 16:13,28; 17:7;
18:17; 21:3,15,16; 23:23; 26:28; 27:6; 29:12; John 7:24
All scripture taken from New International Version.)

The righteous seek truth and justice.

Will YOU seek the Truth before resolving a matter?
